WhatsApp introduced a new Shopping button and this will help customers to easily see a business’ catalogue. The shopping button will also give an advantage to businesses, their products will be easily discovered that can help increase their sales.

The shopping button can be found next to the business account’s profile. A tap on the button will reveal the catalogue that will allow the customers to freely browse through the items.


According to WhatsApp, the voice call button will be replaced by the new shopping button for the business accounts. With the voice call button getting replaced, users may tap on the call button and select either voice or video call for the business accounts.

How to use WhatsApp’s new shopping button

Visit a business account on WhatsApp you’d like to buy from. If the business uploaded their catalogue customers will be able to see a store shop icon next to the account name. Tap on the store icon and browse freely on whatever items are available.

If users opt to buy products, they can tap on the Message Business button below each picture and send a message regarding the product.
