George Foo launched Asia Travel Club (ATC), a social commerce & messaging platform that connects Influencers with hotels & travel brands across Asia. Since 14 Jan 2019, the platform has attracted more than 3,000 influencers with 380 million followers to register and has successfully launched more than 50 campaigns for 25+ hotels.
With a degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Oregon, he first made his mark in the media sales business when he joined StarHub, a leading cable TV operator in Singapore. Recognizing the potential of the Internet in 2000, he joined internet companies such as 24/7 Media Asia and Lycos Asia.
With a vision that digital marketing is highly fragmented in South East Asia and marketers will need an integrated partner to achieve their business goals, George Foo co-founded ihub media in 2002. He is the Chief Operating Officer of IH Digital – a leading digital marketing agency with offices across Asia.
He has led the media sales representation company to many successes through partnerships with top digital service providers like Facebook, Microsoft, ESPN, Bytedance, and Weibo. In 2016 he co-founded real estate platforms – Yazhou Property and Asia Property 365.
In his leisure time, he enjoys travelling and spending time with his family. Truly a man of grit, critical thinking and pragmatism.
